While visiting on Saturday three Moscow parks, the Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin visited the Museum-Educational Complex «Sokolniki», in the grounds of which the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, the Museum of World history of package and the Museum of Ice are working. While the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy was called by the journalists the visit card of the Complex, the Museum of Ice was only opened on Saturday. Sergey Sobyanin was pleasantly impressed with the visit of the latter. The Mayor also had a walk along the original pavilion #2. Long before, in 1959 there was the first event of international importance here – American National Exhibition with its legendary «kitchen debates» between N. Khrushchev and R. Nickson. It is after the walk that an excursion to the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy was offered for the TV channel representatives, where a lesson in the National School of Calligraphy was being held under the guidance of Yuriy Koverdyaev.
