Very important news is coming from the US: the Contemporary museum of calligraphy is admitted as institutional member of the biggest professional union of museums in the US – the American association of museums.
The American Association of Museums has been bringing museums together since 1906, helping to develop standards and best practices, gathering and sharing knowledge, and providing advocacy on issues of concern to the entire museum community. AAM is dedicated to ensuring that museums remain a vital part of our society, connecting people with the greatest achievements of the human experience, past, present and future.
AAM currently represents more than 15,000 museum professionals, 3,000 institutions, and 300 corporate members. Individual members span the range of museum occupations from directors and curators to volunteers.
Every type of museum is represented including art, history, military and maritime, and youth museums, as well as aquariums, zoos, botanical gardens, historic sites, and science and technology centers, etc.
Its stated mission is to enhance the world value of museums through the proper leadership, experienced advocacy, and high level service.
We are happy to congratulate the participants of the project, all calligraphy experts and amateurs with such an eminent achievement that makes a new proof of the growing international recognition of our museum!
