The Contemporary museum of calligraphy is continually refilled with new handworks that will be introduced by the exposition scheduled for Velikiy Novgorod. New arrivals represent calligraphic paintings from P.P. Chobitko, O.A. Varlamova, A.A. Mishina, D.I. Petrovsky and V.D. Kozhevina. Among the other unique masterpieces that Saint-Petersburg artists granted there is a fragment of a temple door called “Struggle of Jacob with Angel” showing both calligraphic text and sculpture composition.
