A 31-year-old calligrapher from Delhi Ahmed Alam Shahnavaz became the seventy-ninth participant of  International Exhibition of Calligraphy.

A graduate of Indira Gandhi National Open University, Ahmed Shahnavaz always enjoyed to give new look to a blank paper with his thoughts.  At the age of 14 he came to know the illustrious artist of the world Ms. Amina Ahmed Ahuja. Her shows were organized in Moscow, Tokyo and New York. The artist’s works are a surprising combination of art and poetry by the renowned Persian writers.

Hу was profoundly inspired by her creative activity. From that day on he has been using his skills to create his own calligraphy which would be absolutely unique. He usually uses self-made ink and bamboo stick.
