Days of Japanese culture. Day three. Alas, the last one.

March 28, 2010

Today was the last of the three days of the Japanese show at the Contemporary museum of calligraphy.  Like in the previous days the exhibition hall was filled to capacity.

Today the lessons of Japanese beauty were taught by:  head of Moscow Origami Center Roman Sviridov Ikebana expert Chinara Munduzbaeva (Moscow branch of “Ikebana International”), Russian federation of Kobudo, headed by Stanislav Lukyanov, artist calligrapher  Alexey Mamonov,  curator of the “1001 kimonos” collection Alexandra Barkova.

It’s been a very successful event. The exhibition drew more than 1000 visitors. Here are some of the beautiful things we’ve been lucky to be part of.
