Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Alexey Shaburov and his councilor Ludmila Kulanina visited the holy places and went sightseeing over Jerusalem where the consultant of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy Avraham-Hersh Borshevsky acted as their guide. 
Jerusalem aging four millenniums is said to be the holiest place in the world for the Jews and Christians and the third holy site for the Muslims.

Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Alexey Shaburov and President of the National Union of Calligraphy Petr Chobitko held a meeting with the Chairman of the Holy Synod Department for Church and Public Relations, Very Reverend archpriest Vsevolod Chaplin in Danilov Monastery.  In the course of the meeting they touched upon the large and exciting work which has already been done in the context of the project.

Contemporary museum of calligraphy has recieved new support

The monthly traffic of the Internet-portal “Museums of Russia”  ranking equals to 150, 000 visitors. “Museums of Russia” was granted 30 awards including the national Internet prize of 2005 and is included in the top 100 of the Russian web-sites. It is cooperating with the key mass media outlets, information agencies, internet portals and museums.
