Volgograd Hosted a One-man Show by a Participant of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy

 

Avraham Borshevskyfrom Israel, a Master of a sacred Hebrew calligraphy and a participant of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy project has finished the work of his own solo exhibition in a Volgograd synagogue.

 

The exhibition was supported by the Volgograd Jewish Community Center and the Embassy of Israel in Russia.

 

The exhibition displayed 18 masterpieces by the Israeli master. Many of them have been exhibited in the USA, Slovakia, India, as well as in Israel and Russia, including the International Exhibition of Calligraphy, the world’s largest project dedicated to the art of writing. The project is estimated to make a strong impression on the majority of those present.

 

The World famous mezuzah, Avraham Borshevsky’s the most renowned work is placed in Guinness World Records and is stored in the Contemporary museum of calligraphy.
