I suppose downtown the city to be very practical for the Novgorod exhibition to be placed in. Clearly visible and well heard far away. Everything is elegant and attractive, very harmonious as a whole. And the theme conformed to the spirit of this antique museum district, a holiday in one word.

The III International Exhibition of Calligraphy proves a lot with its important sacred thematic. It imposes additional responsibility on the organizers and participants. A good impression was achieved with the exhibition taken place in an ancient city, where many cultural and historical values and churches are preserved. Arab and Jewish works side by side, a Russian drawing hanzi, and a Korean writing with Russian letters, the Belarusian done K-letter with a Japanese brush, calligraphers running and giving autographs to each other. Pigs might fly! And all with joy, the atmosphere was amazing and hard to be explained with words.

I am proud, enlightened, inspired, amazed, overwhelmed and most of all thankful!
