This is a spiritual show, a wonderful combination of art, history, art and creative thought. The International Exhibition of Calligraphy is a modern product of a large group of intellectuals. I consider the exhibition to become a good present and a stage of development of our moral perception of the world.

I did not expect the exhibition to have such a great effect and to be interest in. The exhibition has given even greater prominence to Velikiy Novgorod. The organization stroke most of all. All those including the food court, illumination, interior design were all components of the highest level picture as a whole. The citizens and guests are very satisfied and say the have never seen something equal before.

Calligraphy is not an all-round event anymore; it is a destiny of chosen, the artists. That is why the International Exhibition of Calligraphy is an important educational project. We remember penmanship when in school – we were taught to write handsome with a special pen. I had to deal with hand-written textbooks and notes done by students of our theological academy in St. Petersburg in the 19th century. They are readable and even more you are pleased with this handwriting. The Exhibition of calligraphy revives a culture and traditions of writing.

A very significant event our citizens have been waiting for. Joint International Exhibition of Calligraphy and the heritage of Novgorod give a nice scientific, cultural and even political resonance. Precise organization of the event with a well-coordinated team of professionals, very good layout and design of the beautifully and harmoniously entered our cultural life exhibition stroke most of all on that Wednesday at Yaroslav’s Court. Everything was stylish, dignified and high-leveled.

The Exhibition of Calligraphy has contributed to Velikiy Novgorod, a cradle of the Russian writing. Personally, I gained invaluable experience in organizing major exhibitions. I was watching with my eyes broadly opened. The greatest impression is a keen, wise and carefully thought-out logistics, organization and attention to visitors. I had never seen something like this before and unlikely to see again.
