In 1996 doctor Naushad arrived in Russia on recommendation of the Ministry of Health of India to cure the Chernobyl accident liquidators. He was the first to apply the classical ayurveda method of deep detoxication (Panchakarma)… and he was a great success! He worked in the first Russian clinic NAAMI-YUR where he conducted researches with his Russian colleagues. He also gave lectures to Russian doctors in the clinic of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs RF. In Russia he graduated from the Moscow medical academy n.a. Sechenov and clinical residency at the institute n.a. Bakulev.

Doctor Naushad was excited by the museum exposition and the art of calligraphy in itself. As it turned out calligraphy and ayurveda have much in common, especially if to speak about their medical aspects. Scientists proved calligraphy can cure many diseases, as yurveda does it.

During the meeting doctor Naushad promised to present our museum the rare tables on palm leaves containing ancient ayurveda knowledge. Waiting for new exhibits!
