Avraham-Hersh Borshevsky broke the Guinness record. It happened on May 19, 2004. He is the author of the largest mezuzah in the world. It is 94 cm long, 76 cm wide (and kept in a 110 cm long container).

For those who do not know, a mezuzah is a piece of parchment inscribed with specified Hebrew verses from the Torah (according to the Electronic Hebrew Encyclopedia). The parchment is rolled and put inside a special case which is affixed to the doorframe of Jewish homes.

Mezuzah is written by a qualified sofer (scribe) on parchment. Its text consists of 22 lines, which in their turn consist of 15 rhymes and 713 letters.
