Master class of Chen Wen Fu

December 10, 2008
Today Chinese calligrapher Mr. Chen Wen Fu gave his master class at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy.

The spectators of this amazing and magic transformation of a blank sheet of paper into a tiny masterpiece were children from specialist art and language schools

First it felt like impossible to surprise the children who had just been present at the master class of a Tatar calligrapher Najip Nakkash and got calligraphic papers with their names written in a fancy Arabic ligature.

But when a brush of a Chinese calligrapher started to flit over the sheets of paper and write wise ancient words on them, no empty space was left around the calligrapher. Children surrounded him and watched the master class with open mouths.

Friendship, dreams came true – Chen Wen Fu was able to clothe in words anything children desired and having spent a few moments on charming hieroglyphs, presented a totally happy child a sheet of paper meant to bring the dreams into reality.

There is no surprise that joyful cheers and victorious flourish of salvages hardly ceased in the subway.
