The Project is supported by public and governmental organizations

Less than a week is left till the 'cultural capital' of Russia, St. Petersburg, will welcome the International Exhibition of Calligraphy, which is organized by MVK Exhibition Company and the National Union of Calligraphy. Despite this ancient art having been long forgotten in Russia, public interest in the project proves that it is in demand and keeps pace with the times.

Since the very first days the project has been supported by public and governmental organizations. Recently MVK International Exhibition Company received the letters from the St. Petersburg Department of contemporary art and international cultural links of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Committee for science and higher education and Committee for press and cooperation with mass media. All three emphasized the high cultural and social importance of the project for the country in general. The committee for press and cooperation with mass media focused on the handwritten Constitution of the Russian Federation and added that “the handwritten Constitution will make a significant milestone in the history of Russian book printing and Russian statehood”. Emphasizing the culturological significance of the project the Committee for science and higher education recommended students and professors to visit the large exposition and events of the project’s cultural programme which also include calligraphic master classes. The Department of contemporary art and international cultural links of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation refers to the project as the one “deserving attention and support”.
